The Marchmont School Office is closed from July 2nd to August 30th, 2010. While the office is closed, student registrations and transfers are being accepted at the Simcoe County District School Board’s Education Centre in Midhurst. Message from the Principal
As the end of the school year is here, I have many people to thank. I would like to start with the students who I am proud of, for putting forth their best to be the students that they can be. All of the teaching staff at Marchmont, who focus on teaching and learning, I thank-you for your contribution to the lives and education of the students each and everyday. The educational assistants, office and custodial staff who are important members of the collaborative staff, who we all couldn’t do without to support our students each day of the year. I am lucky to have committed volunteers who enter our doors throughout the year and I thank them for their time and effort. Appreciation is extended to the members of our School Council, as they committed their valuable time to contribute to our school. I wish everyone a safe and restful summer. The first day of school for the 2010 – 2011 school year is Tuesday, September 7, 2010!
