Marchmont Public School has been a cornerstone of the Orillia community since 1967 when our current facilities were built. Since then, thousands of students have passed through our halls carrying forth the torch of knowledge that we look to pass on.

Message from the Principal

Welcome to our website and to Marchmont Public School! I look forward to the wonderful happenings at our school this year. I recognize that all students and staff are unique individuals and honor the distinct teaching and learning styles each person brings to Marchmont. Within a very caring environment at this school, we look forward to the educational opportunities and to celebrate learning.

Our strong school staff team will be working on identifying areas of growth to further improve student achievement in a safe learning environment. As we all work together, staff, parents as well as the Marchmont community to support all students to become confident problem solvers and independent thinkers as they grow to become the best members of our society that they can we will see great things happen! I believe that if we are all joined as partners in education, the greater our children’s chance for success.
